Every mission pledges real money to conservation, starting with sun bears.

Rimba is a community of runners growing virtual Malaysian rainforests from the runs we already record on Strava. Together, those runs power something real.

Each community mission sets a shared goal toward a specific conservation cause. As we run toward it, a real ringgit pledge grows, and at mission end the money goes directly to that cause. Our first mission supports the sun bears that inspired Suki, the resident sun bear in every runner's rainforest.

How the pledge works

Every 100 Leaves the community earns on a mission adds RM1 to the pledge, up to that mission's cap. It is pledged toward the mission's chosen conservation cause, currently to a well-known Malaysian sun bear conservation organisation.

Right now the pledge is self-funded by Mark, Rimba's founder and a runner like you.
